StemPrism / Citation policy

Cite the work. Build on it.

When you use or build upon StemPrism research, we ask that you give clear credit — to publications, datasets, methods, software and resources, and the people who contributed to them.

Quick citation template

A general format

Author(s). (Year). Title. StemPrism Research. DOI or publication URL.

This is a general template. Always use the actual metadata shown on the individual publication or resource record.

A / Publications

Citing a StemPrism publication

When citing a StemPrism publication, include the metadata shown on its publication record:

  • Authors
  • Publication title
  • Publication date or year
  • StemPrism Research as the publishing and research organization
  • DOI or persistent identifier, when one exists
  • URL to the publication record, when appropriate
Example format — template only

Author(s). (Year). Title of publication. StemPrism Research. URL/DOI

B / Datasets

Datasets and supporting materials

Datasets and supporting research materials should be cited separately when they have their own persistent identifier or dedicated record. Include:

  • Dataset or resource title
  • Creator(s)
  • Publication or release date
  • StemPrism Research
  • DOI or persistent URL, when available

C / Methods

Methods, protocols, and research resources

Please acknowledge StemPrism methods, protocols, software, tools, or other research resources when they materially contribute to your work — whether you apply them directly, adapt them, or use them to validate your own approach.

D / Multiple sources

Citing multiple StemPrism sources

If your work draws on several StemPrism publications or resources, cite each relevant source individually rather than referring to StemPrism in general. Specific citations let readers trace every claim back to its evidence.

E / Attribution

Attribution and reuse

Citation is expected whenever StemPrism research materially informs, supports, reproduces, extends, or is incorporated into another work. Clear credit keeps the research record honest and recognizes the contributors behind each output.

F / Citation questions
